Software Engineer - Frostbite Integration

Electronic Arts creates exceptional entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans worldwide. As a Software Engineer - Frostbite Integration, you will partner with EA Sports game teams to integrate new Frostbite engine releases, improving integration quality, developer workflows, and engineering efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Frostbite integrations across EA Sports game teams, supporting engine upgrades, code merges, refactoring, and technical delivery.
• Develop and improve integration workflows, tooling, and engine performance to increase reliability, accelerate upgrades, and reduce engineering effort.
• Collaborate with Frostbite domain and game teams to improve engine APIs, developer workflows, and the overall integration experience.
• Research, prototype, and implement automation and AI-assisted solutions that improve integration quality, developer productivity, and engineering efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on development experience in C++ and/or C#.
• Experience with software performance analysis, profiling, debugging, and optimization.
• Understanding of memory management, multithreading, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working collaboratively within a software development team to design, implement, test, and maintain production-quality software.
• Experience with version control and large-scale source code management tools, such as Perforce.
