Description
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow to join our General Paediatric Department at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This post provides an opportunity to develop paediatric clinical skills and is suitable for those not currently in the training programme, as well as for trainees looking for out of programme experience or wanting to start a special interest module (SPIN).
The post will be tailored to meet the needs of the successful applicant, who will have the same training opportunities as senior paediatric trainees. The post holder will work with the existing paediatric team, excluding the Neonatal Unit.
Main Duties:
- Provide day-to-day support for the Paediatric wards and Paediatric outpatient department
- Collaborate with specialist teams on site
- Participate in the out-of-hours middle-grade rota
- Participate in the Audit/QI/Research program of the department
- Contribute to the departmental and undergraduate teaching program, including simulation

Requirements:
- MB BS or Equivalent
- Full GMC/medical registration
- Completed Foundation training or equivalent
- Competencies relevant to completion of Foundation training
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams
- Enthusiasm for teaching, both undergraduate and post-graduate
