Senior Material Handler 2nd shift

As a Senior Material Handler on the 2nd shift, you will focus on day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, while ensuring efficient and safe operations, managing inventory levels, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe work environment by following safety and ergonomic rules, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and participate in safety improvement projects
• Transport materials between buildings and off-site locations
• Maintain accuracy of logs and related resources
• Communicate with distribution centres and transportation companies
• Perform fleet maintenance
• Operate forklifts, warehouse equipment, and other machinery
• Receive, store, and ship products according to SOPs and Current Good Manufacturing Standards (cGMPs)
• Complete and update documentation accurately
• Pick orders of raw and packaging materials
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks, such as material transfers, providing support to the QA Department, and loading landfill and recycling trailers

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft software and Lotus Notes
• Previous experience using automated inventory systems, motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, and forklift trucks
• Experience in a government-regulated, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or standard operating procedures (SOP) environment
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in a production environment
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to work overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial Driver license with experience in over-the-road driving and yard movement
• Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $23.32-$34.99
• Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation
