Assistant Manager, Cloud Services

AIA Digital+ is seeking an Assistant Manager, Cloud Services to assist in the operational performance of AIA's Group shared Public Cloud services.

The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of Public Cloud services by responding to business unit requests, identifying new use cases for automation, and supporting cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the support of AIA's multi-cloud environment (predominantly Azure but with an AliCloud and AWS footprint)
• Liaise with service providers to ensure operational processes are followed
• Improve operational efficiency via use-case definition with the Automation Engineer
• Support Group Technical Risk to ensure compliance with security requirements and standards
• Support non-standard cloud services not covered in AIA service provider contracts

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering/Support role
• Excellent understanding and proven experience in Public Cloud implementation, workload migration, and operational support
• Proven experience with relevant professional certifications (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Understanding of Infrastructure-As-Code configuration management tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, Chef/Puppet)
• Ability to define use-cases for automation and service improvement
• Practical experience of supporting Enterprise Public Cloud Services and automation
• Life insurance experience within a regional or multinational scope will be an advantage
