Senior Software Engineer

As a Tanium Senior Software Engineer, you will build and maintain best-of-breed products as part of a small and nimble development team.

Tanium focuses on a strong customer engagement model and feedback process to ensure products are designed correctly from the start.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining Tanium's products alongside an agile development team
• Focusing on a strong customer engagement model and feedback process
• Designing, developing, and testing new product ideas from scratch while working with product management for feedback and input

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• CS Degree preferred
• 5+ years of industry experience, 7+ preferred
• Experience building large cloud-based data services
• Knowledge of at least one of Golang, C++, or Rust
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with API design and development
• Experience with Azure or AWS Database Services
• Experience with cloud object storage, such as AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage
• Experience designing memory-efficient streaming and multipart data-transfer systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like git and CI/CD pipelines
