Description
The Production Program Manager will play a critical role in new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement projects for advanced defense technologies.
You will lead production design readiness for NPI programs, ensuring successful product launches that meet production scaling, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading production design readiness for NPI programs
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency
- Developing and executing comprehensive production readiness plans
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align pre-production efforts with business objectives
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks and roadblocks
- Providing regular updates to internal teams and leadership regarding project status
- Monitoring project budgets and tracking progress
- Ensuring appropriate allocation of materials, labor, and equipment
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, and 8+ years of experience in operations program management, production, or manufacturing, preferably in defense, aerospace, or complex hardware industries.
