Physical Therapist I - Outpatient - Levine Cancer Institute Morehead

We are seeking a Physical Therapist I to join our Outpatient team at Levine Cancer Institute Morehead. As a Physical Therapist I, you will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to help patients achieve their functional goals.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and create personalised care plans
• Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, and patient interactions
• Establish functional goals with patients and provide evidence-based interventions
• Document patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Techs/Aides as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certified Lymphedema therapist and outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced clinical environment
• Primarily indoors, occasionally outdoors
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, lifting patients or equipment, and manual therapy
