Description

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team at Electronic Arts' Firemonkeys Studio in Melbourne, Australia. As a Senior Product Manager, you will report to the Director of Product and play a key role in defining, marketing, and supporting Sims FreePlay. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing, to provide new experiences and features to our players.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide new experiences and features to players
  • Maximize titles' acquisition, engagement, monetization, and fun
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team
  • Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
  • Oversee the development stages to ensure the final product meets defined requirements
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Analyze games industry market trends and competitor strategies
  • Manage virtual economies and economy models
  • Use analytics and quantitative analysis to monitor game performance and identify new opportunities
  • Coordinate with marketing, creative, and franchise teams to promote titles
  • Work with the Director of Product in business planning and KPI setting

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management within consumer web and e-commerce products
  • Experience using Excel or BI tools to build dashboards and produce insights
  • Experience in a B2C product management environment
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Experience communicating product updates to internal and external partners
  • Strong understanding of the gaming industry and market trends
  • Games industry experience is desirable with Mobile expertise as a plus
  • Passion for the Sims Franchise is a plus
  • BA/BS degree – CS/EE/Engineering degree; MBA preferred
