Delivery Engineer II

As a Delivery Engineer II at Mixpanel, you will own the post-sales onboarding and data health for customers, driving data trust and helping embed Mixpanel into their data stack.

Your goal will be to deliver on emerging AI integrations, working with GTM team members and customers to roll out product analytics and execute technical projects.

You will lay the foundation for customers to adopt product analytics, getting value from Mixpanel through a world-class onboarding experience.

With your technical knowledge of the modern data stack and expertise in analytics, you will lead clients' first experience with Mixpanel.

Responsibilities:

• Own onboarding and data health for strategic and high-value clients
• Align with pre-sales teams to define business goals and metrics
• Engage with customers' engineering, product management, and marketing teams for technical onboarding
• Deliver technical services, including data architecture consultations and adoption best practices
• Leverage modern data architecture expertise to create scalable data governance practices
• Execute deliverables while balancing project timelines and scope
• Collaborate with technical and solutions partners on data optimization and onboarding projects
• Build AI automations to help customers manage data at scale
• Consult with customers on integrating agentic workflows with Mixpanel data

We're looking for someone who is:

• Comfortable with data querying, modeling, and transforming in SQL, dbt, Python, or BI tools
• Familiar with databases and cloud data warehouses like Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, or Microsoft Azure
• Knowledgeable about product analytics implementation methods like SDKs, CDPs, Event Streaming, or Reverse ETL
• Experienced in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Familiar with embedding AI into workflows and using MCP servers
• A customer success, client-facing professional services, consulting, or technical project management professional
