Test Engineer Software

We are seeking a Test Engineer Software to join our team in Graz. As a Test Engineer Software, you will develop test concepts for our measuring devices and associated operating software, making a significant contribution to the quality of our products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating meaningful test cases based on requirements, features, and specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Conducting software, system, and functional tests to verify new features and functions under real-world conditions directly on the vehicle
• Collaborating with hardware and software development teams to analyze error images, evaluate test results, and work on sustainable solutions
• Documenting test progress, results, and findings in a structured manner to ensure transparency throughout the development process
• Actively contributing ideas and supporting the continuous improvement of our products, test methods, and development processes
• Working as part of an experienced and agile team to shape the further development of our product range and contribute to the creation of innovative solutions for our customers

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A completed technical education (university of applied sciences, university) in IT, electrical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology, or a comparable field
• Ideally, you will have already gained initial experience in software or system testing, quality assurance, or technical product environment
• You enjoy analyzing technical relationships, identifying error causes, and developing sustainable solutions together with development teams
• You are characterized by independent and structured working methods as well as a high demand for quality
• You approach tasks in a solution-oriented manner and maintain an overview even with complex challenges
• As a communicative personality, you work gladly in a team and appreciate the exchange with different specialist areas
• Secure German and English language skills in writing and speech enable you a professional communication in our international environment

The minimum salary for this position is €62,896.12 gross per year according to the collective agreement of the vehicle industry. The actual remuneration depends on your qualification and professional experience and can be significantly above.
