Description
The Application team at HKEX is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting market systems for clearing and settlement. You will lead a group of software developers in Hong Kong and China, including Shenzhen, and oversee system development and project implementation activities.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse business requirements and manage resources and vendors for system development projects
- Design and develop systems using modern technologies such as cloud platforms
- Collaborate with IT teams on various aspects of projects
- Provide production system support
- Lead and develop a team of software developers
- Undertake additional assignments and projects as needed
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in software development, design, and production support for large-scale systems
- At least 5 years of experience in leading a team of software developers
- Solid knowledge of Linux, databases, CI/CD, and cloud technologies
- Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, and shell scripting
- Experience in vendor management, vendor evaluation, and system integration
- Familiarity with React, Apache Kafka, and API security standards is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
