RN Clinical Nurse III-OR - Operating Room

UNC Rex Holly Springs is hiring a Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse III OR) to join the Holly Springs Operating Room (OR). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of OR nursing experience and be able to both circulate and scrub.

The OR performs both inpatient and outpatient procedures on adult and pediatric populations in 3 Operating rooms and 1 Procedure Room, including orthopedics, general, GYN, robotics, neurology, breast, ENT, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, and endoscopy.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients with complex problems and synthesize data to determine priorities for care
• Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others
• Evaluate patient progress and revise plan accordingly
• Demonstrate expertise in care of patients with complex problems
• Provide direction in implementation of the plan and serve as a resource to other staff members
• Develop goals to promote professional growth and minimize limitations
• Participate in activities that facilitate intra/interdepartmental collaboration

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
• One (1) year of nursing experience
