Salary

£49,387 to £56,515 per annum

Apply on London Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Description

We are seeking a Quality Compliance Lead to join our team on a fixed-term 6-month secondment basis. As Quality Compliance Lead, you will help ensure that quality, good governance, and regulatory compliance remain central to the way we work. You will support teams across the Trust, lead preparations for CQC activity, coordinate assurance evidence, oversee local risks, and help colleagues respond effectively when gaps or improvement opportunities are identified.

The Quality Compliance Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the London Ambulance Service maintains high standards of quality, governance, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with the Head of Quality Compliance and Intelligence, the post holder will lead and coordinate the Trust's approach to CQC readiness, compliance monitoring, and assurance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of regulatory compliance activities and supporting the Trust's preparedness for CQC inspections.
  • Coordinating quality assurance programmes, self-assessments, and mock inspections to identify and address gaps in assurance.
  • Analysing quality, compliance, and performance information to provide senior leaders with clear insight, assurance, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Developing high-quality reports, presentations, and briefings for executive and senior leadership audiences.
  • Managing and overseeing risk registers, ensuring risks are identified, reviewed, and mitigated effectively.
  • Supporting teams across the Trust to embed a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and regulatory excellence.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on quality governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements, influencing improvement initiatives across operational, clinical, and corporate services.
  • Deputising for the Head of Quality Compliance and Intelligence when required and contributing to the strategic development of the Trust's quality agenda.

This is an opportunity to influence quality at organisational level, work directly with clinical, operational, and corporate leaders, and help create lasting improvements for patients and staff. We are looking for someone who will bring integrity, constructive challenge, and a shared commitment to excellence, learning, and continuous improvement.

The salary for this role is £49,387 to £56,515 per annum pro rata, inclusive of Inner HCAS.
