We are currently seeking administrative professionals to join a large project with a major multinational pharmaceutical company.
Job Summary: As a Data Analyst | Business Intelligence LATAM, you will be responsible for operating the Demand Cycle monthly without failures and leading its transformation from a manual process in Excel to an automated, traceable, and scenario simulation solution, usable by non-technical business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demand projections:
+ Build and maintain demand forecast models for multiple LATAM countries + Analyze historical trends, seasonality, and business variables + Monitor the demand cycle + Evaluate scenarios and sensitivity to support strategic decisions
- Development of analytical tools:
+ Design and develop internal tools to automate demand calculations, scenario analysis, and executive reports + Reduce dependence on manual processes and spreadsheets
- Technology usage (practical focus, not just technical):
+ SQL: extract and structure large volumes of data + Python: modeling, automation, and advanced analysis + Snowflake: manage cloud data and regional scalability
- Internal client consulting:
+ Act as an internal consultant for teams such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance + Translate business needs into analytical solutions + Explain complex results in simple language for decision-makers
Requirements:
- Professional in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Systems Engineering, or related fields
- Postgraduate degree in Analytics/Data Science (desirable but not exclusive)
- 5 years of practical experience operating recurring analytical business processes (forecast, demand, market share, revenue, or planning)
- Autonomy and accountability: able to take charge of the end-to-end process
- Clear and assertive communication
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to document processes and leave operable solutions for third parties
- Continuous improvement and simplification mindset for the end-user experience
- Intermediate English
- Base city: Bogotá
Key Technical Skills (essential):
- Advanced Python: pandas, numpy, statsmodels (scikit-learn desirable)
- Advanced Excel: able to operate and audit complex processes while migrating to automation
- Intermediate-advanced SQL, ideally with Snowflake, BigQuery, or another data warehouse
- Streamlit or similar tools: experience building interactive analytical applications for non-technical users
- Knowledge of forecasting and time series
- Use of Git and good coding practices (modularity, documentation, testing)
Business Knowledge (desirable):
- Experience in pharma, mass consumption, or industries with market share
- Familiarity with IQVIA-type sources
- Understanding of Revenue Management, pricing, and commercial planning
