Description
ElevenLabs is seeking an Audio Engineering Lead to join its Productions team, which offers managed services for creators and media businesses. As an Audio Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of talented Audio Engineers, create and refine custom voices for customers, clean and edit audio, and provide technical guidance on ElevenLabs tools and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in audio engineering, sound design, mixing/mastering, or related media fields. They should be proficient in DAWs such as Pro Tools, Reaper, Logic, or Ableton, and have a deep understanding of voice characteristics, timbre, clarity, and performance nuance.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of talented Audio Engineers
- Create, refine, and iterate on custom voices for ElevenLabs customers using different techniques
- Clean, edit, and prepare customer audio to ensure optimal cloning and generation quality
- Provide hands-on training and technical guidance on ElevenLabs tools and best practices
- Join customer calls, support creative direction, and act as a fractional audio engineer for their workflows
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in audio engineering, sound design, mixing/mastering, or related media fields
- Experience working directly with clients, creative teams, or technical stakeholders
- Strong proficiency with DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Reaper, Logic, Ableton)
- Deep intuition for voice characteristics, timbre, clarity, and performance nuance
- Ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into clear audio and voice-design solutions
