Join NVIDIA's Quality and Reliability Group as a Senior Product Quality Engineer, focusing on Automotive and Tegra products.

In this role, you will coordinate with multi-functional teams to maintain and improve quality systems for better customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing test strategies for new features, including test equipment and diagnostic software specification and validation
  • Performing detailed failure analysis to identify root causes of customer-reported issues
  • Investigating NVIDIA product failures and determining solutions through lab experimentation and collaboration with other teams
  • Applying knowledge of system design, electrical engineering, and PCBA manufacturing to propose containment and corrective actions
  • Maintaining involvement in containment, risk assessment, and risk mitigation activities pertaining to hardware failures
  • Sharing lessons learned from previous field quality issues and providing early input via DFMEA
  • Assisting in generating 8D failure analysis reports and verifying corrective actions' effectiveness

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in system/board level hardware verification/debug
  • A BS or MS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge in manufacturing and production testing of boards and systems
  • Experience with system test development and knowledge of components such as servers, storage devices, network devices, power supplies, cooling systems, security, and software
  • Exposure to digital design, circuit analysis, schematic review, statistical analysis, firmware, drivers, and diagnostic software applications
  • Comfortability with the use of lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQ)
  • Outstanding problem-solving, collaborative, and interpersonal skills

Experience with Automotive products and standards, knowledge of GPU/CPU product infrastructure and test methodology, and strong technical/debug skills in test equipment and test program troubleshooting are desirable.
