Description
As an Agile Dev Team Member III with Java, AS400 at Capgemini, you will have collective responsibility for the design, development, testing, and deployment of system functionality.
You will work in a hybrid setup and collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality solutions. Your primary focus will be on development and testing, ensuring that systems are of high quality and easily modifiable to support future requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting customer needs and providing input into system design
- Writing and refining user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Performing impact assessments and estimating user stories
- Identifying and raising issues and risks with functional design
- Partnering with the Product Owner to confirm code and acceptance tests
- Executing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Coding instructions for computer programs and configuring packaged software
- Quality checking program code and documentation
- Delivering working code each sprint
You will also participate in key ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, Sprint Planning, and retrospectives. You will actively seek out development opportunities to further develop T-shaped skills and become a more cross-functional contributor.
The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of relevant experience, with expertise in Java, AS400, Microservices, Eclipse, and Rational Application Developer.
