Banquet Bartender Part/Time ($23 hr) - The Watermark Hotel

We are seeking a part-time Banquet Bartender to join our team at The Watermark Hotel in Tysons, Virginia. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Your goal will be to provide exceptional guest service and create an inviting bar atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service, taking and preparing beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the point of sale system and cash register, following all cash handling procedures.
• Prepare drinks to recipe and brand standards, dispensing appropriate levels of alcohol.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with state and local liquor laws.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health regulations and local liquor laws.
• Complete required paperwork, including beginning and end of shift inventory.
• Work effectively as a team player, assisting other associates as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of previous bartending experience or Bartender certification.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to speak, understand, and write English.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move about the property continuously throughout the shift.
