Principal Software Engineer in Networking

Join NVIDIA's dynamic team as a Principal Software Engineer in Networking within the DGX Cloud division. You will design and build software-defined network infrastructure using EVPN and BGP architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build world-class software-defined network infrastructure grounded in EVPN and BGP architectures.
• Contribute to software development processes with meticulous attention to detail.
• Perform code reviews to ensure reliable and correct feature implementation.
• Collaborate with network fabric (underlay) network architecture to implement sophisticated multi-tenant networking solutions.
• Engage in determining key networking strategies that support innovative technologies.
• Drive ambitious projects that complement the best in the industry.
• Ensure all network processes adhere to the highest standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Consistent track record with a minimum of 15 years in networking, with some emphasis on systems and software engineering.
• Extensive experience with BGP, EVPN, IP subnetting, and overlay networking.
• Ability to write software to solve networking problems in any language.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a diligent approach.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated experience in software development and code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or an associated field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with cloud-based networking solutions.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA technologies and platforms.
• Published works or contributions to open-source projects in networking.
• Leadership experience in managing complex networking initiatives.

NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package. The base salary range is 272,000 USD - 431,250 USD.
