Warehouse Operator

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team at FUCHS in Harvey, IL. The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Manager and play a crucial role in assisting with shipping and receiving operations.

The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for:

• Investigating inventory availability and generating truckload quantity shipments for various FUCHS divisions and customers
• Utilizing RF scanner to pick and organize individual product containers for final shipping, including maintaining inventory rotation
• Operating fork trucks to safely pull, transport, stage, store, and load/unload finished product and various items in the warehouse
• Generating accurate shipping documentation, including recording product batch numbers and quantities via SAP
• Communicating with internal customer service, inventory managers, and customers regarding scheduling and delivery requirements
• Performing general housekeeping and organization duties (6S)
• Ensuring all warehouse functions are performed safely and accurately

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Experience operating fork trucks
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Experience in the chemical/lubricant industry is preferred
• Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and other ERP/MRP systems is a plus
• Experience with RF scanners, WMS, TMS, etc. is preferred
• Experience with Automated Storage Retrieval Systems is a plus
