Principal PR Manager

We're seeking a Principal Public Relations Manager to join the Corporate Communications team. In this wide-ranging, fast-paced, and strategic role, you will be a core member of Twilio's Public Relations team, leading external communications in support of Twilio executives, customers, partners, and employer brand.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Employer Brand PR: Drive awareness of Twilio as a great place to work by spotlighting the company's people, values, and culture through proactive external storytelling.
• Own External CAO Communications: Design and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy for Twilio's Chief Administrative Officer.
• Manage Partner and Customer PR: Identify external storytelling opportunities highlighting Twilio's customers and partners.
• Lead Social Impact PR: Develop thought leadership content and secure media coverage spotlighting Twilio.org.
• Support Financial Communications: Support Twilio's quarterly earnings, acquisition, and industry investment announcements.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Lead PR programs and drive media relations.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, executive communications, or public relations.
• Exceptional media relations and writing skills.
• Proven track record of directly supporting and advising C-suite leaders.
• Strong business acumen and financial communications experience.
• Strategic and systematic thinker with exceptional organizational skills.

• Experience managing executives' social media presence.
• Experience working inside a fast-paced agency environment.

Location: Remote - US Travel: Approximately 20% travel anticipated.

Compensation:

• Estimated pay ranges: $141,520 - $176,900 (Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington D.C.).
• $149,840 - $187,300 (New York, New Jersey, Washington State, California).
• $166,400 - $208,000 (San Francisco Bay Area, California).
