Description
Mastercard is seeking a collaborative and strategic Manager of Data Enablement to shape how governed, contextual data supports AI-driven products, services, and analytics.
The successful candidate will translate business priorities and customer needs into scalable requirements for data products, stewardship, metadata, and AI governance. They will advance Mastercard's data product operating model and governance framework to promote enterprise reuse, consistency, and standardization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with engineering, platform, architecture, and product teams to prioritize and deliver data management and governance capabilities
- Applying AI and workflow automation to streamline governance, stewardship, intake, documentation, reporting, and decision support
- Embedding governance by design to increase reuse, reduce duplication and friction, and measure adoption and business outcomes
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven leadership in shaping and delivering enterprise data, analytics, governance, AI, or technology products that produce measurable business outcomes
- Strong analytical leadership, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, schemas, and semantic models
- Deep knowledge of data governance and management, with the ability to establish practices that strengthen metadata, data quality, stewardship, data products, data contracts, semantic layers, and lineage
- Demonstrated success leading AI and automation initiatives that improve business performance while maintaining strong governance, security, privacy, risk management, and appropriate oversight
Preferred experience includes intermediate to advanced expertise in enterprise data, analytics, and governance, as well as knowledge of data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, Databricks, AWS EMR, Atlan, and Collibra.
In this role, you will also be expected to abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices, ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed, report any suspected information security violation or breach, and complete all periodic mandatory security trainings.
