Description
As a Uniformed Security Officer at 3M, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative people worldwide and make an impact by monitoring and operating technical tools to detect threats and risks to 3M's personnel, assets, and reputation globally.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, operate, interpret, and interact with multiple technical tools to detect threats and risks
- Manage incidents and emergency situations
- Monitor and evaluate global geopolitical issues
- Assist in maintaining intelligence databases and sources
- Conduct regular monitoring of online open source intelligence
- Provide professional and effective customer service
- Perform campus and building security patrols
- Complete incident and activity reports
- Complete training for basic First Aid/CPR and AED
- Provide escorts to employees and visitors
- Carry out all job duties and responsibilities in compliance with corporate policies and departmental procedures and standards
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Two (2) years of experience in a security-related role
- Current, valid Driver's License

- Ability to lift and carry at least 35 pounds of emergency equipment

The expected compensation range for this position is $53,592 - $65,501.
