Engineering Vendor Manager

We're seeking an Engineering Vendor Manager to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team. You'll manage engineering projects for strategic components and suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality components for our products.

Responsibilities:

• Manage product timelines, quality meetings, and roadmaps for quality, capacity, and automation
• Lead engineering engagement with strategic suppliers for NPI and production, identifying risks and areas for optimization
• Define and implement monitoring and documentation requirements for key process steps
• Establish quality criteria and outgoing quality control procedures at suppliers
• Monitor and analyze supplier yield data, production metrics, and quality performance
• Lead internal NVIDIA engineering teams to ensure supplier capabilities align with product requirements
• Conduct supplier technical audits and provide mentorship on standard processes
• Own issues end-to-end, driving investigations to root cause and recommending solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in engineering roles, with a focus on process management, manufacturing engineering, or NPI
• Proven track record of understanding complex manufacturing processes and identifying critical control points
• Strong background in process quality methodologies, yield analysis, and data interpretation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to run technical programs to committed timelines and influence cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., advanced packaging, high-speed PCBs)
• Familiarity with NPI processes in a fast-paced technology company
• Proven track record of driving significant quality or yield improvements at suppliers
• Experience with DFM and DFT principles
