Description
Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, providing various services such as food delivery, financial management, and transportation. The Sentry team handles billions of network messages daily and ensures the reliability of hundreds of Grab services.
As a Software Engineer, Backend, you will build high-performing solutions that provide stability and efficiency for millions of daily users. You will operate in a multi-cloud environment, designing scalable, zero-downtime network traffic routing and analytics solutions for Grab's public edge.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale systems.
- Improve and shape new design architectures with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to build back-end services.
- Debug and make necessary modifications to production software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a backend language such as Go, Scala, Java, or C++.
- Solid software engineering and coding skills.
- Understanding of building microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, unit testing, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
