Description
As a Software Engineer on Career Mode, you’ll help build and evolve one of the most played experiences in the game. You’ll work on the technology, tools, and frameworks that power Career and Tournament modes, and contribute to new features shipped each year.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of new features or new additions to existing features within Career Manager, Career Player and all types of Tournament modes
- Troubleshoot and fix any issues that may arise
- Manage your piece of feature/sub-feature, implementing BE logic, game flows, and UI screen, plus any UI custom components
- Contribute to gathering requirements and writing technical functional design specifications
- Monitor performance and Career Mode stability impact from your changes and address any issues
Qualifications:
- Object-oriented programming experience of OO design principles
- 7+ years’ experience in C++ software development
- Experience to quickly understand high-complexity existing and unfamiliar code and modify it
- Ability to embrace challenges and find creative ways to overcome them
- Experience in C# and open-minded to learning new tech.
Nice to have:
- Experience in UI technologies (Qt, Unity or Unreal UI frameworks)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Lua), C# and SQL
- Experience working within an agile team
- Experience working with Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo game consoles
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
