Description
We are seeking a Senior RAD Developer to join our team at Barclays. As a Senior RAD Developer, you will design, develop, and improve software solutions using various engineering methodologies. You will work closely with Equity Derivatives Trading, Structuring, Sales, and Market Risk desks to develop software using enterprise technology stacks, delivering a direct impact on P&L.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed about industry technology trends and innovations.
- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Requirements
- Considerable experience with C++, Java, C# enterprise-level development.
- Experience with Python development.
- Knowledge of Excel VBA and interfacing with DLLs.
- Experience with SQL DDL, DML.
- Interest and ability to troubleshoot enterprise large distributed systems.

- Front-end development experience.

The minimum salary for this role is $170,000 and the maximum salary is $230,000.
