Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to join Bupa's diagnostic clinical services in a purpose-built Specialist Diagnostics & Dental Centre located at Wharfside Health Centre, Canary Wharf, London.
As a Senior 1 Radiographer MRI, you will be responsible for the daily management of the MRI service, deputise for the Superintendent Radiographers, develop and maintain staff rotas, supervise the professional standards and operational management of the rotating staff, perform high-quality examinations, accurately analyse acquired data, record results, and produce high-quality images for reporting.
The Centre features state-of-the-art facilities including MRI, CT, X-ray, and mammography, and delivers a wide range of outpatient and diagnostic services across multiple specialities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily management of the MRI service in liaison with the Superintendent Radiographer and organising the daily work schedule.
- Deputise for the Superintendent Radiographers as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain staff rotas to ensure appropriate staff coverage.
- Supervise the professional standards and operational management of the rotating staff and their training.
- Perform high-quality examinations as required by referring Physicians.
- Accurately analyse the acquired data, record results, and produce high-quality images for reporting.
- Assist in the care of all equipment within the department.
- Ensure the efficient use of all resources, establish stock control systems, and liaise with manufacturers and suppliers.
Requirements:
- BSc or DCR in Radiography with HCPC registration.
- Substantial MRI experience.
- It would be desirable to be Philips MRI trained in neuro, body, cardiac, and ortho MRI.
- Cardiac MRI.
- Demonstrable experience in Contract MRI.
- Use of RIS & PAC's.
- Ability to work under pressure and direct and achieve results.
