Description
We are seeking a Data Coder to join our team. As a Data Coder, you will be responsible for transforming incoming paper data from suppliers into electronic data files.
Essential Functions
- Code data, as required, transforming incoming paper data from suppliers into electronic data files.
- Interpret written responses and enter them into electronic coding systems, allocating data to standard reference systems.
- Perform quality assurance on coded data to ensure it accurately reflects the paper data submission.
- Bridge data by comparing incoming transaction data with IQVIA reference data files to establish a match using manual or automated processes.
Qualifications Required
- College graduate, preferably in a healthcare, allied health, information technology, computer science, or related field.
- Work experience in which PC literacy skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, have been acquired.
- Ability to conduct basic analysis and information gathering to resolve routine issues.
- Developing knowledge of the company's products and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Educational background and/or professional experience in a healthcare-related field such as Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Technology, IT, Computer Science, Information System, Data Analytics, other allied health, healthcare-related, or technology-related disciplines
Preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data quality and accuracy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, drug names or healthcare reference sources.
