WTOL 11, Toledo's News Leader, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Journalist to join its award-winning 11Investigates team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career journalist to learn investigative reporting and tell stories that make a difference.

As part of the 11Investigates team, you will:

• Pitch, shoot, write, edit, and report stories across broadcast, digital, and streaming platforms
• Work alongside experienced investigative journalists to research and develop stories
• File and track FOIA and public records requests
• Research court records, government documents, and public information to uncover new stories
• Follow up on daily news stories and look for unanswered questions and accountability angles
• Take viewer calls, emails, and story tips and help determine where the newsroom can get involved
• Support the Call 11 for Action reporting by investigating consumer concerns and working to get viewers answers
• Conduct interviews with community members, public officials, and other newsmakers
• Create journalism for all WTOL 11 platforms, including television, WTOL.com, streaming, social media, and vertical video
• Assist with breaking news and major coverage when needed

The ideal candidate has a degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, or equivalent journalism experience. They should understand the basics of reporting, writing, shooting, and video editing, and have strong writing and communication skills.
