Description
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the team at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow, part of Circle Health Group. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
The successful candidate will undertake comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental needs, and develop and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans to promote independence and participation in daily life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking comprehensive assessments of patients' needs
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans
- Providing interventions such as functional skills training and cognitive rehabilitation
- Working closely with physiotherapists, nurses, doctors, and other allied health professionals
- Attending MDT meetings and contributing to clinical decision-making
- Liaising with patients, families, and carers to ensure involvement in care plans
To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience working in a clinical rehabilitation, acute, or community setting
- Excellent communication, assessment, and planning skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in a specialist area such as neuro, orthopaedics, elderly care, or mental health
- Knowledge of equipment provision and minor/major home adaptations
- Familiarity with electronic health records and therapy documentation systems
Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £35.00 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
