Working as a Food & Beverage Expert at Target means being part of a team that ensures a consistent experience for guests by providing fresh, in-stock, and accurately priced products.
As a Food & Beverage Expert, you will create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing Food & Beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and stock rotation
- Maintaining a clean and organised store environment
- Providing exceptional guest service and supporting team efforts
- Adjusting to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
- Upholding and maintaining the execution of Food & Beverage Standards
- Following all food safety requirements
- Using sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
- Working with vendors to maintain salesfloor merchandise displays
- Locating and identifying damaged, recalled, or expired items
- Executing all federal, state, and local adult beverage laws
- Appropriately using and caring for in-store and personal protective equipment
- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up

- Be able to resolve guest questions quickly
- Have attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Be capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
