As a Retail Store Associate at CVS Health, you'll play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. You'll provide differentiated customer service, accurately perform cashier duties, maintain the sales floor, and support opening and closing store activities.
Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues
- Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting and offering help locating additional items
- Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
- Support opening and closing store activities, as needed
- Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty
- Assist pharmacy personnel, as needed
- Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
Required Qualifications:
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical Requirements:
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally
- Visual Acuity - having close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full-time Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00
