Software Engineer, New Grad

We're looking for a Software Engineer, New Grad to join our team. As a Stripe, you'll be working on projects that have a significant impact on the global economy. You'll be part of a small team that can impact how millions of businesses grow.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while applying rigorous critical thinking and professional judgement

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a directly related field, obtained by summer 2027, or equivalent work experience
• Experience and familiarity with programming, either through side projects or classwork
• Experience from either previous internships or working collaboratively on multi-person coding projects
• Ability to learn unfamiliar systems and form an understanding of those systems
• Clear written communication skills
• Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate development

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more areas of specialized knowledge (frontend, backend, infrastructure or other technologies)
• Experience in code review practices
• Familiarity with navigating and managing work in large code bases
• Experience leading small projects independently
• Ability to operate with high agency in navigating complex technical obstacles independently
