Physical Therapist, Outpatient Pediatrics

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Pediatrics team at Advocate Health in High Point, NC. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide patient care assessment and treatment, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation, completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy.
• Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifying quality and operational opportunities.
• Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers, providing representation on committees.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.
• Provide appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines.

Requirements:

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.
