GPSU Military - Federal Fellowship (Hybrid)

GuidePoint Security is seeking separating service members to apply for a fellowship through DoD Skillbridge, Army Career Skills Program, or Hiring Our Heroes. As a fellow, you will work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services.

You will gain experience through hands-on technical development, real-world security response, collaborative project work, team and position shadowing, and partner-led vendor training and certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with subject matter experts to provide cyber security services
• Complete in-house training programs
• Gain experience through various projects and activities

Requirements:

• Separation from active-duty military service within the next 18 months
• An active security clearance (Top Secret or higher)
• Eligibility to conduct an internship/fellowship through DoD Skillbridge, Army Career Skills Program, or Hiring Our Heroes
• Basic knowledge of networking, common security tools and practices, and a passion for information security
• Preference is given to those currently serving in IT, intelligence, or cyber positions

Following separation, fellows will work on-site at one of several locations, including St. Louis, MO; Bowling, VA; Chantilly, VA; Quantico, VA; Reston, VA; Springfield, VA; Washington DC.
