We are seeking a Beauty Studio Advisor to join our team at Target. As a Beauty Studio Advisor, you will be responsible for creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience in the cosmetics and skin care department. You will connect with guests through product recommendations, beauty expertise, sampling, and solution-based selling to help them discover products and routines tailored to their needs, lifestyle, and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience
- Greet guests and initiate a warm, helpful interaction
- Help guests find what they need and resolve issues
- Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- Stay current on top beauty brands and trends
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
Requirements:
- 12+ months previous beauty retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest and knowledge of beauty and skincare products
- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to communicate effectively and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
