About the Role

As a Senior Customer Engineer at Cloudflare, you will drive the technical go-to-market strategy for enterprise solutions in Latin America. You will act as a trusted advisor who owns the technical relationship from first discovery to long-term adoption and account growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Validation: Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, build custom architectures, and run product demos and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for Security, Networking, and Developer Platforms.
  • Customer Adoption & Value Realization: Oversee technical onboarding and implementation. Serve as the main contact for the customer. Monitor health scores and telemetry to speed up time-to-value and fix bottlenecks.
  • Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Carry a variable quota tied to new business and account growth. Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to show return on investment (ROI) to executives.
  • Trusted Advisory: Maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders through every stage,onboarding, maturity, renewal, and expansion.
  • AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Act as an AI-augmented engineer. Use AI agents to automate routine tasks like RFP responses, sandbox provisioning, and basic telemetry monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: Background in a customer-facing technical role like Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering (leveling varies by experience).
  • Technical Acumen: Expertise in web security, networking (DNS, routing, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
  • Commercial Mindset: Track record in a quota-carrying or revenue role with knowledge of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Communication: Strong presentation skills to bridge deep tech details with C-suite business strategy.
