Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Advocate Health, specifically in the Outpatient Pediatrics and NICU departments. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in interpreting physician referrals, completing evaluations, and establishing plans of care for patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary evaluations
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Providing patient/family teaching and discharge planning
  • Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation

The position will have a split schedule of 50% time in Outpatient and 50% in Acute Rehabilitation: NICU. The schedule will consist of 10-hour days, Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state where you work
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in pediatrics and NICU settings
