Composites Technician

We're seeking a motivated Composites Technician to join our team at Multimatic Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. You'll work hands-on to build advanced composite components for high-performance vehicles and motorsport programs.

Responsibilities: You'll be hands-on from day one, with all training provided in-house. Your tasks will include:

• Learning to laminate and vacuum bag carbon fiber and other composite materials for curing in an autoclave
• Working with autoclaves and ovens to cure composite materials
• Building and assembling composite components and substructures
• Cutting, trimming, bonding, and finishing composite parts to precise specifications
• Interpreting lamination and assembly manuals
• Creating master molds and patterns
• Maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Collaborating with supervisors, leads, and QA to meet project timelines and quality expectations
• Keeping your work area safe, clean, and organized
• Participating in continuous improvement activities

Requirements: You don't need to be an expert, but you should:

• Be comfortable using power tools with training
• Have a willingness to learn how to read composite manuals and follow detailed instructions
• Be motivated by problem-solving and hands-on skills
• Have a willingness to learn about composite materials, resins, and adhesives
• Have basic computer skills to enter your timesheet
• Be team-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused
• Be passionate about building cool things, especially motorsport-related components

Salary: $17.60 - $25.48
