Make a difference in the lives of military Service Members and their families as a licensed mental healthcare provider with Leidos.
We are seeking passionate and flexible counsellors to join our Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) team, providing preventative counselling services to support mental well-being across military installations and communities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide face-to-face counselling to military Service Members and their families (individual, couples, family, and children)
- Recommend referrals and handoffs to military and community resources
- Offer presentations on social skills development and social emotional learning
- Build rapport with Service Members, spouses, and children by attending installation and community events
- Help families and children with challenges particular to the military community
Assignments:
- Adult counselling: support Service Members and adult family members on issues like relationships, stress management, and parenting
- Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Positions: provide mental health support to Service Members and their families in high-pressure environments
- Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) Counselling: support children, youth, parents, staff, and faculty on issues like bullying, conflict resolution, and self-esteem
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Behavioural Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD)
- Licensure to practise at the independent practice level (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist) in a state or territory of the United States
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to pass a basic background check and National/Child National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI/CNACI) clearance

Pay Range: $52/hr. - $60/hr.
