Description
We are seeking a Hedge Fund Investment Analyst to join the Asia team as part of the Absolute Return investment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and performing due diligence on prospective hedge fund investments in Asia, developing and sharing views on key market opportunities and themes in Asia, and partnering with the Portfolio Strategy Group to support Asia-based clients.
Responsibilities:
- Source and perform due diligence on prospective hedge fund investments in Asia
- Develop and share views on key market opportunities and themes in Asia
- Partner with the Portfolio Strategy Group to support Asia-based clients
- Monitor existing hedge fund relationships and track key positions and exposures in the portfolio
- Develop and utilize a personal network to source new investments and assist in a deeper understanding of existing investments
- Work with managers to source, diligence, and underwrite co-investment opportunities
- Train and mentor junior team members
Qualifications:
- 7 to 10+ years of hedge fund industry experience, preferably including manager selection experience in Asia
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent English and Chinese language skills (written and verbal Mandarin)
- Strong analytical and time management skills
