Senior CPO System Hardware Engineer

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our Hardware Switch Group in Israel. The team leads the development of networking infrastructure for NVIDIA's next-generation data centers, focusing on accelerated performance and optimized end-to-end GPU connectivity.

Responsibilities:

• CPO (Co-Package Optic) Switch System architecture and design from concept to mass production
• Define hardware requirements, hardware architecture, board partitioning, and lead electro-optic-mechanical concept design and review
• Collaborate and integrate with all hardware project fields, including Board Design, Mechanics, Thermal, Production, Software/Firmware, RTL, and more
• Hands-on testing in a lab environment for electrical and optical integration and validation, including problem-solving during production and qualification processes

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience as a System/Hardware Engineer in designing and integrating complex hardware projects
• Hands-on lab and hardware and software tools skills
• Proven experience in technically leading multi-disciplinary projects
• Comprehensive understanding of RTL implementations (CPLD/FPGA)
• Excellent interpersonal relationships and demonstrated ability to take ownership

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in data-center switch product design and validation and verification for high-volume manufacturing
• Experience in optic system design, debug, and testing
