Description
We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our Hardware Switch Group in Israel. The team leads the development of networking infrastructure for NVIDIA's next-generation data centers, focusing on accelerated performance and optimized end-to-end GPU connectivity.
Responsibilities:
- CPO (Co-Package Optic) Switch System architecture and design from concept to mass production
- Define hardware requirements, hardware architecture, board partitioning, and lead electro-optic-mechanical concept design and review
- Collaborate and integrate with all hardware project fields, including Board Design, Mechanics, Thermal, Production, Software/Firmware, RTL, and more
- Hands-on testing in a lab environment for electrical and optical integration and validation, including problem-solving during production and qualification processes
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience as a System/Hardware Engineer in designing and integrating complex hardware projects
- Hands-on lab and hardware and software tools skills
- Proven experience in technically leading multi-disciplinary projects
- Comprehensive understanding of RTL implementations (CPLD/FPGA)
- Excellent interpersonal relationships and demonstrated ability to take ownership
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in data-center switch product design and validation and verification for high-volume manufacturing
- Experience in optic system design, debug, and testing
