As a Beauty Sales Consultant at CVS Health, you will be part of America's leading retail pharmacy with more than 9,000 stores. Your role is to provide exceptional customer service, share the latest beauty trends and techniques, and drive sales growth.
Customer Sales Experience
- Provide personalized sales service to customers, ensuring a fantastic beauty advisor experience
- Engage in conversations with customers, listen to their needs, and offer specialized sales advice
- Build lasting relationships with customers through effective upselling and suggestive selling
- Be a brand expert, answering customer questions with product knowledge to produce the largest sales basket possible
Operational
- Educate customers on various products, explaining how they address their needs and leveraging the CVS beauty monthly sampling program
- Participate in and represent company sales programs or events that positively impact business
- Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and other beauty-specific promotional materials
- Maintain a clean and organized beauty zone, adhering to hygiene standards
Training & Personal Growth and Development
- Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training with ongoing training/educational programs
- Execute the established sales plan, meeting sales budget and tracking progress
- Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls
- Compete with yourself to beat prior sales goals and max out sales budget

Physical Requirements
- Physical abilities to support the essential functions of the role, such as standing and moving throughout the store
- Ability to stoop, kneel or crouch, and reach or grasp objects
- Manual dexterity for tasks like ear piercing
Required Qualifications
- Sales-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Goal-driven with the ability to multi-task and work independently
- Available to work a flexible retail schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours
- Ability to perform ear-piercing services (training and certification provided)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (for specific CVS stores)
- At least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior beauty sales experience
- Current knowledge of beauty products and brands
- Strong passion for beauty
- High school diploma or equivalent
