Description

We are seeking a Game Maker to join our EA SPORTS Academy in a hybrid Producer/Project Manager track. This 12-month immersive experience will provide the knowledge, mentorship, and hands-on experience needed to build the foundation for the next generation of EA SPORTS Producers and Project Managers.

As a Game Maker, you will support the delivery of high-quality game features from concept to launch while ensuring alignment across scope, schedule, quality, and budget. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting product and feature ownership, partnering with Design and Creative leadership to define feature vision, player value, and success criteria
  • Applying systems tradeoff thinking to evaluate scope, cost, risk, quality, and timeline implications
  • Contributing to product decisions that balance player experience with execution realities
  • Ensuring feature quality aligns with franchise standards and player expectations
  • Establishing clear goals and delivery plans aligned to overall franchise milestones
  • Building and maintaining detailed project schedules based on team estimates
  • Managing dependencies and removing delivery blockers
  • Communicating progress, challenges, and priorities with your team
  • Leading teams through change, shifting priorities, and evolving production realities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Previous project management or team leadership experience
  • Experience in different project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
  • A passion for video games, particularly EA SPORTS titles
  • An interest in, or experience with, American Football
