Aramco energizes the world economy. We are seeking a Lead Accounting Analyst to join our Finance and Internal Auditing Planning and Performance Management Group.
As a Lead Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for executing, planning and performance management (P&PM) analytical activities, including monitoring departmental expenditures, analyzing variances, correcting errors, and consolidating performance inputs from transactions, key performance indicators (KPIs), narrative, risk assessments, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical findings & recommendations relating to P&PM tasks such as business plan preparation, performance tracking and measurement, and performance analysis and accountability reporting.
- Conduct special studies related to development of performance initiatives and business cases, benchmarking, risk management, design and re-design of measurements, processes and workflows, and information system-related changes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
- Advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum 9 years of relevant working experience in Planning and Performance Management job roles preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
- Demonstrated capability and track record in the practice of planning & performance management and in the use of business intelligence tools are required.
