Description
We are seeking a Lead Technical Consultant to join our team. As a Lead Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the work of technical staff. You will participate in an agile work team, break down features into user stories, and serve as the liaison between business and technical groups.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain well-developed user stories from prioritized features
- Make decisions regarding functionality and priority of work efforts
- Solve problems critical to the success of project initiatives
- Participate in planning events, team demos, system demos, retrospectives, inspect and adapt workshops, and other ceremonies
- Develop and maintain project plans to drive results on new project initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of experience working with REST APIs and JSON formats
- At least 2 years of experience utilizing API testing tools like Postman or Hoppscotch
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 4 years experience with REST APIs, JSON and expertise using API testing tools like Postman
- Familiarity with API protocols, including API keys, TLS/SSL, and JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
- Ability to translate technical specifications for non-technical stakeholders and lead network participants through onboarding, certification testing, and go-live
- Skill in analyzing log files, network traces and error codes to resolve client testing issues
- 2+ years in the Payments industry
- Client-facing technical support & documentation skills
Salary Information:
- Houston, TX: $109,900 - $125,400 per year
- Riverwoods, IL: $109,900 - $125,400 per year
