Description

We are looking for a Community Developer to establish and grow communities around Ubisoft's games, focusing on player communications, game improvements, and feedback cycles.

The successful candidate will lead the global community strategy on specific brands, create and execute global plans, and work with a distributed international team to build relationships and earn trust with players worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing community strategic plans to support production objectives and marketing strategies
  • Growing existing communities in alignment with business objectives
  • Coordinating communication and initiatives with multiple global departments
  • Leveraging community managers and resources to create meaningful content for players
  • Acting as a spokesperson for assigned brands and coordinating community-centric events
  • Collaborating with social media managers to define and report on content KPIs
  • Supporting internal and external milestones, such as betas and launches
  • Advocating for player needs within production and publishing teams
  • Shaping player feedback cycles and providing insights to influence game experiences
  • Collaborating with live teams for post-launch communication
  • Managing and producing internal reports on community feedback and activity

Requirements:

  • Intermediate experience managing online communities and developing strategic plans
  • Experience in the gaming industry across multiple platforms and genres is a strong plus
  • Experience working on unannounced or early-stage projects, with proven ability to operate with discretion and adapt strategy
  • Extensive knowledge of community and social media platforms
  • Strong understanding of building and maintaining video game community growth and developing strategic player engagement plans
  • Ability to collect, synthesize, and champion player feedback
  • Capacity to build long-term trust with players and studio partners
  • Experience working in a demanding production environment, managing multiple deadlines and cross-functional stakeholders
