Electrical Engineer Projects

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer Projects to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Marysville, Ohio. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to implement and communicate operational plans for completing projects.

The role involves leading continuous improvement and support of facility mechanical systems, including system design, coordination, preventative and predictive maintenance programs, capacity planning, controls, and equipment upgrades. The ideal candidate will have experience with control systems architecture and programming, as well as knowledge of equipment reliability systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead continuous improvement and support of facility mechanical systems
• Support the operation of facility mechanical systems
• Update, review, and maintain electrical and mechanical drawings
• Ensure building mechanical systems meet customer capacity, reliability, and operational requirements
• Develop and manage project schedules, scopes of work, budgets, and project workflows
• Implement engineering strategies and new technologies
• Create project scope documents and manage contractor bidding and selection processes
• Train Facilities Associates on enhancements and changes to mechanical and electrical systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 0-6 years of engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems
• Working knowledge of electrical and structural systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
• Strong communication and presentation skills
