As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in ASIC power analysis, modeling, optimization, and automation while contributing to more energy-efficient NVIDIA products.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of IP-level power models for early power estimation of architectural changes and new features.
  • Assist IP teams in analyzing power consumption across different workloads and application scenarios.
  • Use internally developed flows and industry-standard tools to perform power analysis and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Work with design teams to evaluate proposed power optimizations.
  • Develop scripts and automation flow to improve work efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of digital circuit design, computer architecture, or ASIC design methodology.
  • Familiarity with power consumption concepts and common low-power design techniques.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Coursework or project experience in RTL design, synthesis, physical design, or computer architecture.
  • Familiarity with power-analysis tools such as PrimeTime PX or PowerArtist.
  • Experience with power modeling, workload analysis, or low-power design.
  • Experience building or integrating AI agents/skills.
